Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy Movie Review (3/4 Stars)

A good adaptation based on the novel of the same name. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy presented a different take on the spy genre when it was released many years ago, emphasizing intellect and deduction rather than gadgets and guns. As a result, this is more of a thinking thriller than an action one. Some will probably be bored by this (there were people walking out on the showing I saw), but I liked it. I'll admit there were times it was a little slow, but I was invested in the story of an agent (Gary Oldman, who's great) trying to find a mole at the top of British intelligence.

I liked it, but I'll warn you - this movie is kind of like watching people play Clue rather than playing it yourself.
