Prices in Albuquerque area settle at about $2.67
After nearly a month of continuous increases, gas prices in the state are stabilizing. Triple-A New Mexico says the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular costs $2.68 in New Mexico, the same as the national average. A gallon of gas is selling in Albuquerque for $2.62, while Santa Fe's $2.67 a gallon is the most expensive in the state.

I was raised in an Air Force family out here in an Air Force town. My grandfather retired out of Kirtland in '64 and my father worked for various departments on the base back in the 60's & 70's.
