Scarlett made it onto Forbes's Celebrity 100 list in 2007, and the magazine reported that she earned $5 million. Since then, she's acted in a couple of movies a year, likely bumping up her salary considerably. She's also received four Golden Globe nominations, though she's never won (hang in there, Scarlett). As for Ryan, he's chosen more small-time projects like Adventureland and Waiting..., which don't pay as much.
Attractiveness.
Scarlett Johansson is now synonymous with the curvy figure, and she's made a name for herself on best dressed lists as well. The camera loves her unique look as much as casting directors do. Reynolds may seem like an average-looking scruffy guy at first glance, but under those clothes are some washboard abs coveted by even the most dedicated fitness buffs.
Popularity.
Last month, around 673,000 people searched Google for details on Scarlett, while 450,000 searched for Ryan. Those numbers place them in the more popular half of the couples on our list.
Staying Power.
As much we'd love to believe that this marriage is destined for life-long happiness, there are some obstacles in their path. They've been dating since 2007 and tied the knot last year (watch the video below for details), but Scarlett and Ryan's dating histories speak volumes about their likelihood to stray. Johansson has been linked to a slew of famous actors, including but not limited to: Derek Jeter, Benicio Del Toro, Jared Leto, Josh Hartnett and Justin Timberlake. Reynolds dated Alanis Morrissette for five years, and the two were even engaged. They announced their split in 2007.
Compatibility.
These two are both on the cusp of their signs, so all bets are off. Scarlett is a borderline Sagittarius, while Ryan is just barely a Scorpio, which indicates that they have completely differing personalities. She loves to charm a crowd; he'd rather relax at home with an intimate group. Here's to hoping that these two don't identify with their respective signs, or they're astrologically doomed.
