Tees inspired by 80s pop music
I'm not sure why but I’ve been listening to 80s music more than usual these past few days. Mind you, I grew up listening to these songs (on cassette tapes!) so they mean much more to me than just cheesy lyrics (i.e. Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down,… you know how it goes) or heavy synthesizers. I associate these with a lot of fond memories. For instance, singing the Boomtown Rats’ “I don’t like Mondays” in my head made the trek to school at the start of every week bearable. And I don’t know what I would have done without the music of New Order, Depeche Mode and yes, Rick Astley to fuel my homework nights. Well I made it through all of school, didn’t I?
So here are designs I came up with on my journey back in time.

What exactly does “Knee deep in the hoopla” mean? I have no idea but it sure sounds like it can be a good excuse you can use to get out of a sticky situation: “Sorry but I’m knee deep in the hoopla at the moment…”
Money (That’s What I Want) T-Shirt by arncyn
Not entirely sure how this one got here since it isn’t exactly an 80s song. Perhaps it’s because we’ve been playing Beatles Rock Band all weekend, hmm. Still, who doesn’t want money? Wear in front of your parents (or if you’re a grown up like me, in front of your boss), hopefully they’ll get the hint.
