This week passed without reports that any critics had checked in at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital suffering from physical exhaustion. That was a minor miracle, given that reviewers had to take in, and write up, seven Broadway shows in the space of five days. The Broadway traffic before the Tony Awards cutoff on April 26 was such that two shows were forced to share both April 23 and April 26 as their opening night. Way to leave it to the last...
