Election Countdown: 21 Days to Election

Only 21 days left until the election and the big news is tomorrow's debate. John McCain has been getting hammered in recent polls, so it will be interesting to see what his strategy is going to be.

 Does he go on the attack and try to associate Barack Obama with William Ayers? Or will he play the role of the magnanimous statesman doing his best to elevate the tone of our country's politics?

If McCain is looking to truly reboot his campaign, as he says he is, the debate will be a great place to show people what happens when you cntrl+alt+delete your campaign machine. (See Bill Kristol's NY Times op-ed piece for his reboot strategy.)

McCain spent today campaigning in Pennsylvania with his wife Cindy, while Barack Obama was in Oregon, Ohio. Both candidates will meet at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY, tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT) for their final debate before the election.
