‘An old man’s car’, is an epithet that is often applied to the Honda Accord and so the company has done something about it. Shrugging off the image while simultaneously, attempting to attract younger, more ‘upwardly mobile’ customers, as we used to call them.  

I bought a Honda Accord after buying a Saab 9-5 with many faults; there was many problems with the engine and the ride was very uncomfortable. I sold the Saab and bought an Accord.  

Honda redesigned the Accord for 2008. The car is more aggressive looking than the previous model. It definitely stands out in a crowd. The fit and finish with the vehicle is excellent. The doors close very quietly and smoothly.  

Nothing yet, as we really haven't had time to evaluate this factor. Our dealer loaned us the Accord for a couple of days, just to drive around in and to make sure we liked it. After two days... we loved it.  

"Great ride if it wasn't for the transmission issues!" What things have gone wrong with the car?  

Honda’s Accord only includes the HomeLink transponder on its leather-equipped EX-L trim levels with the six-cylinder engine, which starts at $28,555. The four-cylinder EX-L trims as well as the EX and LX trims don't come with the feature. Homelink is a keypad inside the car that can be...
