I used this article when researching the 2008 Nobel Prize laureates for chemistry for my presentation in BS1015. Although this article is somewhat biased in favour of Roger Tsien (a HHMI member - other winners were Martin Chalfie and Osamu Shimomura), it gave me a good idea of his research and the development and roles of flourescent proteins in the investigation of how molecules and organisms function.
