NEW YORK (Reuters) - Former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, who won acclaim for his leadership following the September 11 attacks in 2001, said on Tuesday he does not intend to run for New York governor or the U.S. Senate in 2010. Giuliani, who unsuccessfully sought the Republican presidential nomination in 2008, said he would endorse Republican Rick Lazio for New York governor. The former mayor said he wanted to focus on his consulting business, Giuliani Partners, which has won a contract in Rio de Janeiro to improve security there ahead of the 2012 Olympics. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani says he's not running for governor or for U.S. Senate. Giuliani tells WABC-TV Tuesday that he's decided to turn his attention to his law firm and consulting business rather than commit to another high-profile run for office. The former presidential candidate says he "would have loved to have run for either governor or the Senate," but says he feels he owes it to his business partners to focus on his private enterprises. Giuliani says the Republicans still have plenty of potential candidates to choose from for the Senate race against Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand (KEHR'-sten JIHL'-uh-brand). They include ... NEW YORK – After months of playing it coy and flirting with a bid for statewide office, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said Tuesday that he won't return to the campaign trail next year, leaving a wide-open field for New York Republicans interested in the gubernatorial and Senate races. Giuliani, viewed by many New York Republicans as a savior for the struggling party, said his "significant commitments" to his lucrative law and consulting businesses made it impossible for him to run for office in 2010. At a news conference to endorse ex-congressman Rick Lazio for governor, Giuliani said he had considered running ... Read Full Story

The Democrats provide amazing reminders that slavery is alive and thriving in America today. The plantation these days is Congress. White Democrats are the plantation owners, and the Congressional Black Caucus members are the slaves…modern day House Negros. As in the days of Democrat oppression, House Negros of today represent royalty to blacks, leaders, second only to the poverty pimps served up by a complicit Liberal-loving media. Unlike other races, Democrat blacks need identifiable leaders or how would they survive? As this blogger put it regarding house Negros during slavery, At least those [house] Negroes would tell the field slaves, from time to time, ... Read Full Story

One can only speculate and maybe after the dismal showing by John McCain that a recharged GOP might be more receptive to Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani in 2012. We are only basing this on the fact he has come out saying he is ruling out a run for the Senate in 2010, the seat is currently held by Democrat Senator Kirsten Gillibrand , she was appointed by New York Governor David Paterson. If you remember this happened when former Senator. Hillary Clinton was tapped to be the Obama administration secretary of state. The thing is New York has two very weak ... Read Full Story

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has been the subject of such vile attacks from the left that many forget that they once had praise, not vitriol, before she became John McCain’s running mate. After Palin won her election in Alaska in 2006 she was the darling of the Democrats because she bested sitting Governor Frank Murkowski. She not only beat Murkowski, she sent packing many of his pals in the Republican “corrupt bastards club.” Smiles on...

Who will be the next Republican President? Will Mitt Romney win in 2012, or will it be Sarah Palin? This is a difficult question for me to answer. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani says that he will not run for the U.S. Senate or governor of New York. That decision takes the biggest name out of those races in 2010. In the governor's race, he endorsed Long Island's Rick Lazio, who lost in the U.S. Senate race in 2000 against Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton after confronting Clinton...
