Mitt Romney Wins Straw CPAC Poll

Santorum came in second. But — FOR ONCE — there was a vote that wasn’t a simplistic representation of the latest MSM hype about the MSM’s “flavor of the week” candidate.
Apparently, the CPAC crowd is a bit more sophisticated than average voters who, it seems, only learn anything about the candidates when they get heavy media coverage. CPAC’s members — who are political junkies like you — already know enough about the GOP candidates and won’t be seen FLITTING ABOUT as does most of the ill-informed electorate.
Been There, Done ThatI would be remiss if I didn’t note that Newt is now ever more mute.
Voters, especially sophisticated voters, know all too well about GIngrich’s personality flaws and disorganized and alienating leadership problems.
