If there were marketing justice, we'd all drive Toyota Venzas to salute the automaker for those wonderful ads making fun of Internet-addicted, self-centered young folk. We'd also be chuckling smugly because the ads focus on mature people ...  

This mid-sized SUV crossover vehicle replaced the 2000 Honda Civic SiR, a sport-compact vehicle that was last year's top choice for car thieves and pushed down to third place this year. In second place in this year's list was the 1999 Honda Civic SiR.  

Indeed, as we reported recently in our Kicking Tires blog, a four-cylinder Crosstour is due in January, though Honda hasn’t announced prices as of this writing. The V-6 Crosstour starts at $30,340 (not including the $810 destination charge), and we expect the Crosstour four-cylinder to be in the same ballpark as the Toyota Venza, its closest competitor. The four-cylinder Venza starts at $27,425 (plus $810 for destination).  

Now the company is launching the third generation, and we'd describe it as a cautious evolution of the previous model with some Toyota Highlander and Venza styling elements thrown in for good measure. We are sure it passed the customer clinics with flying ...
