Audrina Patridge (Getty Images) Whether you've decided to go retro for Halloween or you're just prepping for your next big theme party, you're on the hunt for a sexy, saucy '80s outfit. Thankfully, it's not all that hard to look hot in a retro getup—nor is it very expensive!

There are plenty of ways to work your existing wardrobe into a sexy '80s look. Look into your closet and pick out everything that's a bright flashy print, neon, checkered or acid wash. If you're deficient in all these things (it's okay, no one's perfect), then consider looking for the following sexy '80s items:

an itty bitty bandage dress in a bright day-glo hue
metallic or neon high tops (they may be flat, but you'll feel great dancing in them)
torn fishnets, a la '80s Madonna
big, chunky jewelry to layer
blue eyeshadow
old sweatshirts that you can cut the neck out of for a Jennifer Beals in Flashdance kind of look

legwarmers (preferably in bright colors)
scrunchies (preferably in bright colors)
