A community portal about 9/11 conspiracy theories with blogs, videos, and photos. According to Wikipedia.org: Since the September 11, 2001 attacks, a variety of conspiracy theories have emerged about the attacks which contradict the mainstream account of events that day. The theories typically include suggestions that individuals in the government of the United States knew of the impending attacks and refused to act on that knowledge, or that the attacks were a false flag operation carried out with the intention of stirring up the passions and buying the allegiance of its people. Some conspiracy theorists have claimed that the collapse of the World Trade Center was the result of a controlled demolition. Some also contend that a commercial airliner did not crash into the Pentagon, and that United Airlines Flight 93 was shot down. The mainstream scientific community does not support the controlled demolition hypothesis and U.S. officials, mainstream journalists, and mainstream researchers have concluded that only al-Qaeda was involved in the attacks.

“How big a lunatic do you have to be to witness two jet airliners filled with jet fuel slam into buildings on live TV, triggering a massive inferno that burned for two hours and then think ‘Well, if you believe that’s the cause…’” Bill Maher We all know roughly what happened eight years ago today; it was one of those “Where were you moments” like when Kennedy was assassinated, or when a rosy-cheeked Geraldo Rivera took to the air for the first time. But do we really know? 9/11 conspiracy theorists – truthers , the Colbert-ish name they go by – say absolutely not. ... Read Full Story

I've never really gotten into the whole 9-11 conspiracy thing. It's not that I'd put it past the Bush Administration to orchestrate something like that, and it was certainly the best thing that could have happened to his presidency (I think his pre-9/11 approval ratings were in the mid 40's). But I know for a fact that Bush himself couldn't have been in on the particulars. It's the subtle points that clue me in here. Sure he had a suspiciously perfect alibi, "Where was I? I was in a room full of school children! Where the hell were you?" But, okay, I know Bush ... Read Full Story

Last week, Winnipeg journalist and ex-Liberal candidate Lesley Hughes was viciously smeared as antisemitic. The Canadian Jewish Congress has promoted this allegation. The Tories maliciously distorted Hughes’ 2002 article, “ Get the Truth ,” and Dion’s gang hopes to use the 911 Truth Movement as a club to beat the NDP. It is worth restating what she actually wrote in 2002: “German Intelligence (BND) claims to have warned the U.S. last June, the Israeli Mossad and Russian Intelligence in August. Israeli businesses, which had offices in the Towers, vacated the premises a week before the attacks, breaking their lease to do it.” So, what ... Read Full Story

The day before I posted my expose of Alex Jones and his 9/11 nonsense, Alex was apparently in the mood to discredit himself. Alex was leading a group of his nut job followers in a protest that they hoped would (and I’m not making this up, folks) levitate the Denver Mint . I guess, for the sake of full coverage, I should point out that their attempt at levitation was unsuccessful. That having been said, Ladies and Gentlemen, I introduce you to Alex Jones, the man who produced the videos used by EuroYank to make his case that our government attacked us on September ... Psychiatrists are to blame for the 9/11 attacks, according to two leading officials of Scientology front group “Citizens Commission on Human Rights” (sic) , or CCHR. In a just-released video compiled from two interviews on a Florida Scientologist’s local cable-access TV show, these officials, CCHR-Florida president David Figueroa and former CCHR-International president Dennis H. Clarke assert that Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri, normally considered to be Osama bin Laden’s next-in-command, is really bin Laden’s psychiatrist, and is directly responsible for bin Laden’s transformation into an international terrorist. Figueroa says that al-Zawahiri convinced bin Laden to form al-Qaida, and used psychiatric drugs to change bin Laden from ... Read Full Story

“Muslim, psychiatrist, gun. Enough said.” Veterans Today, Nov. 5, 2009. Gordon Duff, staff writer and senior editor of Veterans Today, and my e-mail “buddy,” is a hoot to read. His stories of conspiracy are currently my favorite. Gordon has 9/11 conspiracies, Afghan, Iran and Iraq conspiracies, and the list goes on. Fortunately, not all of his readers take the same extreme stance. Some even appear to be voices of reason, but these voices are...

'Al-Sharq Al-Awsat' Columnist on Arab 9/11 Conspiracy Theories: 'They Feed Our Illusions' In a September 9, 2009 op-ed in the London daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, titled "They Feed Our Illusions," Mshari Al-Zaydi offered his thoughts on Arab 9/11 conspiracy theories and the reasoning behind the phenomenon of these theories. Following is the op-ed, in the original English: [1] "The Reality... Is That Those Who Carried Out the September 11 Attacks...

Usually conspiracy theorists at least start off with a basic framework of facts—however misinterpreted, out of context, and blown out of proportion they may be—that they decorate and embellish with all the made-up stuff that makes conspiracy theories fun and/or dangerous, depending on their flavor. The main reason certain folks believe that the lizard men did 9/11 is that there are plenty of people out there digging up actual pieces of...
