Topic : Is there any truth to the 9/11 conspiracy theories? Description At the 7th anniversary of the event that changed the world forever, debate still rages on the internet and in conversations around the world about what really happened on that most famous of dates. Official explanations blame the attacks on 19 hijackers, Al Qeada and Osama Bin Laden. The attacks precipitated wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. It gave the US a cause to fight for and a cause to exploit. However, debate has been raging ever since, mainly outside the mainstream media, over just how credible the official explanation is.

The most prominent alternative theory is that 9/11 was an inside job, meaning the US government organised the attack in order to create an environment conducive to a greater imperial agenda. Far fetched, maybe, however, history is littered with such false flag events, from Hitlers burning of the Reichstag to the Tonkin Incident which precipitated The Vietnam War.

Films like Loose Change, watched by millions, set out an array of evidence which we will sort through, attempting to ascertain its validity. Forum, a Question Time style show in Press TV, will also delve into other theories as well, such as, whether the US authorities knew of the attacks and let them happen.

Oh, the 9/11 Truthers here certainly have the facts on their side to support that we need a new, but this time independent-criminal investigation where all leads are followed, all unanswered questions are properly addressed and answered where possible, without any recourse to the lame, censoring excuse of National Security and state secrets.

Chris 'Pyrate' McCabe

But who's gonna pay the piper, & how to guarantee independence of investigation?

Tom Usher

Hello Chris,

Are we looking to punish, or do we believe that those who hear the truth but ignore it will receive their reward regardless of any punishments humans mete out to fellow humans? How do we avoid taking the wheat with the tares? Punishing the innocent is an abomination.

Islam screams for justice, and there is supposedly the admonition within Islam not to punish the innocent; yet, in Islamic wars are 100% of the innocent spared?

When Mohammed took captives from the wars he started and kept them or sold them into bondage, even raping the women and girls, were those captives not punished for crimes they often had not committed? Are we Christians or Muslims? We cannot be both.

What is the just punishment for each guilty soul? Which of us has a history free of sin? How many of us have escaped punishment? How many of us is God forgiving and showing mercy? Now do we want to turn around and beat the guilty and/or hang them?

Independence is either granted or not. There's no mystery here.

When the investigative team must be comprised also of those who were blocked (the whistleblowers and best Truthers, etc.) and the team issues no complaints not addressed to the proper and reasonable satisfaction of the people in general including such as the Jersey Girls, would the cover-up continue with ultimate success?

I am looking for truth (and reconciliation where possible). I am not looking for punishment.

When does humanity rise in spirit rather than remain unconscionable?

The reason all the evils are happening is because human standards are way too low. Our job is to raise them. We don't do that by beating and killing each other. We have had the low standard for recorded history. It isn't good enough. It isn't worthy of repentance.

Do you agree?

Chris, you know that's not a rhetorical question.

Peace of the LORD and Lord if you will accept,

Tom
