By Anna on  From myonlyphoto.blogspot.com
I am sure everyone by now has covered the Lunar Eclipse on February 20, 2008, so guess what life moves on and everyone forgets or may be some do, lol. Therefore, I thought I wait couple of days, and post my results to remind you again, and let you know that next one on December 20, 2010 - cold one again. BTW, the 2010 year feels like science fiction year.Full Moon, Aurora, Ontario, Canada, Feb 20, 2008, 06:18 PM EST However, here are my adventure with the moon on February 20, 2008. Full Harvest Moon - Not Exactly

By Anna on  From myonlyphoto.blogspot.com
Unfortunately, we got cloudy evening here. It looked like it was clearing out, but then on the wrong side of the sky. Well, this did not stopped me from taking my camera out. First, I was able to snap Sunset while we were driving home. I was still hoping for the real Harvest Moon, as big as I used to see. What can I say, oh well there is always next time. Then after dinner I went to check out on the Moon. The Full Moon was there but the clouds were still passing by making it too difficult to...Read Full Story

Yellows, Reds and Spider Webs

By Anna on  From myonlyphoto.blogspot.com
You know when you start seeing yellows, reds and spider webs, the fall is around the corner. My favorite seasons are spring and fall. I enjoy the summer and winter also, but seems like spring and fall has the perfect temperature balance which I can handle. However, if I put the temperature factor aside, each season is unique and brings me always something different to photograph. This weekend, during a long weekend - on Sunday we were able to get through our regular 3-4 hour bike route, and on...Read Full Story

Today's Itchy and Scratchy

By Anna on  From myonlyphoto.blogspot.com
Finally we were able to take a morning hike, after painful home renovations. We spent most of our summer time outside biking, hiking and star gazing, so the renovation part was very hard to handle. Myself and my husband we always do almost everything together, including any local hiking or biking. We also work together, but this is a whole different story. Today, we decided to do bird watching more than biking. We made few stops. The first one started almost with nothing, but we patiently...Read Full Story

Aug 28,2007 Lunar Eclipse Over Aurora, ON

By Anna on  From myonlyphoto.blogspot.com
I think it is time to show off my Total Lunar Eclipse results for August 28, 2007 - this is my first time I ever actually watched this event and photographed. Here is the outline of the event, few hours later. I guess I needed some time to rest, probably the excitement and fresh air. The sky was just perfect, I couldn't ask for any better 'night weather', and not just the sky but nice and cool breezy night. When I was watching the Full Moon around 3 am, I had small visitor hovering around me...Read Full Story

The Caterpillar Does All The Work But The Butterfly Gets All The Publicity

By Anna on  From myonlyphoto.blogspot.com
The American stand-up comedian, actor and author George Carling once said: "The caterpillar does all the work but the butterfly gets all the publicity". Yes I am the caterpillar, lol, as many of you will be noticing this beautiful butterfly instead. Frankly, I don't know who George Carling is, but it seems like this quote fitted my post. My changes to this blog are final. I think I spend too much time on it, and I know if I change something again, I will start over. The attraction to...Read Full Story

Fun Waking Up to the Morning Moon

By Anna on  From myonlyphoto.blogspot.com
This morning I woke up to the view of this nice bright morning Moon, actually I woke up to one yesterday, but I didn't take any photos. I guess sometimes it is better to enjoy it with naked eye. So first thing I did, I took my camera and took some photos of the Moon, and I also took some photos of Yellow-Jacket wasps having party in my hummingbird feeder, and then I went back for more Moon photos - just in case something changes out there on its surface. Aurora, Ontario, Canada, Sep 01, 2007...Read Full Story
