Since the fall of man, Satan has sought to destroy God's children. He uses many different things to tempt us. Food is a sneaky vice, for we need food to live. Is it any wonder that lust for a food was the temptation that brought about man's fall? Since that enticing food in the garden, man has mad his belly a god and food has become a common addiction. Now we must fight for the freedom from this addiction to food!

Yesterday I had just gotten into the car and was waiting for my 6 year old to get himself settled in his car seat. The door was still open on my side. The Lord has placed heavily on my heart recently that I spend "40 days in the desert to prepare for ministry" just as Jesus did. Last week, right after my last post, I was attacked with an unexplainable rash. The itch was unmerciful, and it wiped me out. I was so uncomfortable and miserable and could not function properly. I spent a week feeling awful, avoiding certain activities and generally feeling low as can be.
