FLORHAM PARK, N.J., April 29 (UPI) -- Brett Favre has been released by the New York Jets but the quarterback said he hasn't changed his mind about retirement. Favre, 39, retired in February, ending an 18-year NFL career during which he set a series of league records, including touchdown passes (464) and passing yards (65,127). He played one season with the Atlanta Falcons, 16 with the Green Bay Packers and last year with the Jets. I've been called a "Favre-hater" many times in my life, even when he was a member of the Green Bay Packers. That's fine with me, because I just call it as I see it.
