AR Rahman facing trouble due to song 'Hossana'

The Mozart of Madras gets into trouble for his recent renditionHosanna…. from Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Ek Deewana Tha.The makers of the Hindi remake of super hit Tamil film, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya, seem to have landed in trouble with Catholic community, for using the word ‘Hosanna’ in a song. News is that the Catholic-Christian Secular Forum (CSF)  is irked with the use of word ‘Hosanna‘ in the song. The forum has shot off letters to authorities concerned including music composer AR Rahman demanding that the song be withdrawn. “We would like to point out that Hosanna is a prayer in the Bible and sacred to both Jews and Christians, referring to God or Jesus Christ, with strong reverential and religious connotations.
