• Is the Hoodia contained pure - look at the ingredients listed, there should not be traces no matter how small of substances such as Magnesium Stearate
• Does the product have a CITES Certificate as proof of authenticity
• Does the the product have a COA (Certificate of Analysis) to prove that the powder is South African Sourced.
• Are there any other ingredients that can dilute the effect. Hoodia is expensive to cultivate and harvest and subsequently some manufacturers have taken to adding filler ingredients such as green tea in an attempt to beef up the product.
• Each capsule should contain around 400mg to 460mg of raw powder (not extract) products claiming to contain 600mg and above are more than likely using additives.

If your intended purchase has all of the above then the chances are pretty high that the product is the real deal - real Hoodia Gordonii.
