The first time I became aware of the cryptic 1960s British drama series The Prisoner was in 1995. The Sci-Fi Channel was showing repeats and wanted to try an experiment with this new thing called cyberspace. So the channel invited a bunch of smarties from a bulletin board I was on called ECHO to watch all 17 episodes together and post their reactions, which scrolled along the bottom of the screen as the show aired.
