The Walking Dead gets a Special Edition Release!

By ComicBooked on  From comicbooked.com
AMC has proven themselves to be a major network contender, and their highest rated show to broadcast is getting a re-release of their hit first season. The Walking Dead will have a special edition Blu-Ray/DVD release, boasting a ton of new features and I for one cannot wait. Now I of course ran out and purchased the series on Blu-Ray when it was released and was very happy except for one nagging problem, the clarity wasn’t up to par with Blu-Ray. Hopefully this release will correct that issue...Read Full Story

Will 'The Walking Dead' Still Be Good Without Frank Darabont?

By comicvine on  From comicvine.com
If you watched 'The Walking Dead' last season and were among the masses that felt it was one of the greatest pieces of television ever, then you were probably as shocked as we were when news broke that 'The Walking Dead' director Frank Darabont would not be returning to the show. This was especially shocking in light of the fact that Darabont had just finished promoting 'The Walking Dead's' upcoming season at San Diego Comic-Con. But this wasn't a case of "irreconcilable differences," between...Read Full Story

Off My Mind: AMC's The Walking Dead Whisper Theories

By comicvine on  From comicvine.com
Like many, I was glued to my television on Sunday nights watching AMC's The Walking Dead . Yes it's unfortunate that the season was only six episodes but there's no point in complaining about that (or the wait until season 2 begins). With the release of the season today on Blu-ray and DVD and with the millions of viewers in the ratings, I...Read Full Story

Will “Walking Dead” suffer from Frank Darabont’s exit?

By hnews on  From hollywoodnews.com
By Adam Frazier Hollywoodnews.com : Frank Darabont’s sudden exit from AMC’s “The Walking Dead” caught fans of the zombie drama off guard, being as the writer/producer/director spent nearly five years shopping the comic book series by Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore around Hollywood as a television series.
