Animal Abuse in Eldora Recently Animal Rescue Alliance and Amy Gray of Hardin Eldora Animal Rescue Team investigated a neglected dog located at Pine Crest Mobile Home Park. We found the condition of the great Dane mix in a very neglected condition. The dog was half starved to death with his ribs protruding and his stomach shrunken from lack of enough food or water. This is really disturbing to me! How can these people be so sick as to do this to animals? If they are guilty they need to punshed with big fines, Prison time, yes I said Prison but since they are, well at least some of them are under the age of eighteen then some bleeding heart judge will send them home to mommy and daddy! And the ones of legal age will probary recieve a fifty dollar fine or less! Our court systems must start enforcing and punishing animal abusers with something besides a small fine! JONESBORO/HARRISBURG, AR (KAIT) – Officials with Northeast Arkansans for Animals told Region 8 News an Arkansas state law is making it more difficult to prosecute criminals who violate animal cruelty, abuse and neglect laws.
