Red haired, freckle faced Jimmy Olsen was barely a teen when he started working for The Daily Planet as a copy boy, eventually he worked his way to cub reporter/photographer, best friend to Clark Kent/Superman and Lois Lane. He first appeared on the radio version of The Adventures of Superman in 1940. Then from 1954 - 1974, Jimmy Olsen had his own comic book called Superman's pal Jimmy Olsen, giving Jimmy adventures of his own.
