The wait is over for some lucky fans who not only attended a special screening of Battle: Los Angeles this evening, but watched it with Michelle Rodriguez and Michael Peña who star in the film! The duo walked the red carpet at the Regal South Beach Cinema 18 on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, Florida on March 7th, 2011 amidst screaming fans who were dying to get a glimpse of their favorite stars.

Michelle dazzled everyone on the press line with her bubbly personality and charisma. Not to mention she looked smokin’ hot in a loose black shirt and tight pants from All Saints, motorcycle jacket from Belstaff, and sexy Jimmy Choo’s. She kept everyone entertained with her favorite Charlie Sheen quotes and tiger imitations. Yep she has the tiger blood!

Also in attendance were David Chocarro, Adriana Fonseca, Paulo Quevedo, Alejandra Pinzon, and Housewives of Miami star Marysol Patton.  Even American documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock was there, even if it was by coincidence that he happened to walk past the madness!

The action drama is set in modern day Los Angeles and follows a platoon of Marines and Airmen during a global alien invasion. The events of the film are inspired by The Battle of Los Angeles, a falsely suspected air raid of Los Angeles that took place during World War II.

It also stars Aaron Eckhart, Ramon Rodriguez, and Bridget Moynahan.

Everyone: go and watch this movie when it hits theaters on March 11th.
