Aaron Tveit will be leaving the show after its Jan. 3 performance at the Booth Theater; starting Jan. 4, the role of Gabe will be played by Kyle Dean Massey.

Aaron Tveit is reprising his Gossip Girl role as Nate's wealthy cousin, Tripp Vanderbilt, this November for at least six episodes. The politically minded Tripp will announce that he's running for office and Nate will get involved with his campaign. "Gossip Girl" airs at 8:00p.m. on The CW (channel 11 in NYC).

Kyle Dean Massey, who played a brief stint as Gabe in the Tony-winning musical Next to Normal while the role's originator, Aaron Tveit, took a leave of absence to star in the world premiere of Catch Me If You Can, will assume the part of Gabe permanently next year.
