Cote d'Ivoire: Former Chief of Defense Staff Appointed as an Ambassador
[U.S. Embassy Abidjan] General Philippe Mangou, the chief of defense staff under the previous government, has been appointed as Cote d'Ivoire's ambassador to Gabon, says a front-page story in Fraternite Matin. According to the paper, Mangou's nomination was confirmed yesterday during the Council of Ministers meeting presided over by President Ouattara.
