Abigail Breslin is set to headline Vincenzo Natali's upcoming ghost tale, Haunter , Variety reports. Announced earlier this year , as a "reverse ghost story," Haunter is written by Brian King and tells of a young woman, Lisa (Breslin), and her family who were killed in their home. Their ghosts remain behind as Lisa haunts and possesses the daughter of the new family that lives there, attempting to protect the living girl from danger...  

Haunter sees Breslin play a teenager who, along with her family, died in 1986, but remain trapped in their house, unable to move on. Steven Hoban and Mark Smith are producing the Canadian movie shoot to May 19 in Toronto and Brantford, Ontario ...
