MUSAA, a joint German-Italian architecture project, hopes to help rebuild Italy's earthquake-stricken Abruzzo region. Its goal is to train architects to match cutting-edge building techniques with traditional architectural aspects and thereby avoid the emergence of bleak, soulless new developments.  

The next phase of Hamilton's efforts to help those affected by the Abruzzo earthquake is about to begin. Over 400-thousand dollars has been raised, thanks to the kindness and generosity of the city's residents. Lorenzo Scarpone and the Sustain Abruzzo family on Thursday, Dec. 17th, are at Aqua Pazza Restaurant in San Mateo as they celebrate Abruzzo and help rebuild the farmland that was decimated during the earthquake last April in Abruzzo, Italy. Sustain Abruzzo is donating 100% of the donations from this dinner to help the Galano Family rebuild the barn at their dairy after losing both their home and barn in the earthquake.
