According to Wikipedia.org: The Accuracy International Arctic Warfare rifle is a family of bolt-action sniper rifle designed and manufactured by the British company Accuracy International. It has proved popular as a civilian, police and military rifle since its introduction in the 1980s.
Sniper Rifles Barrett M82
The M82 was developed by the American Barrett Firearms Company as a high powered heavy sniper rifle.
The rifle is currently used by many armies and units around the world, including the American Special Forces. The M82 is also called the "Light Fifty" for its powerful .50 caliber BMG (12.7 mm) load. The weapon is made in two variants — the original M82A1 (and A3) and the improved bullpup M82A2. The M82A2 is no longer manufactured, however the XM500 can be seen as its successor, in that the XM500 also employs a bullpup configuration.
