Sunrise Over the Palm Trees (Part 1)

By pennyronning on  From nonsilentmajority.typepad.com
During my sophomore year of college at Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ) I would get up almost every morning between 5:00 and 5:30 and ride my bike over to the track where I would join the other morning joggers. I am very much a morning person, but this is not the reason I would run so early in the day. It was just too freakin' hot once the sun came up! For those of you who run or jog long distance, you are going to understand the feeling I am about to describe. In runner's terms, it's...Read Full Story

Visualization

By Teri Elmendorf on  From justtmarketingllc.blogspot.com
I have been a student of personal development since the age of 19 when I first started a home based business. My company at the time would talk about dream boards, aks vision boards, attraction boxes and attraction books. These are really just tools to help us with our visualization. Constantly seeing things we want and things that make us happy raises our energy level and also keeps our goals in front of us.In the beginning, my biggest problem was that I wanted so many things, that I found...Read Full Story

Growing in unlikely places

The front side yard that now has flowers and rose bushes was filled with bushes and bark mulch. There was little room...Read Full Story

By Dreamer2456 on  From mygardenmysanctuary.blogspot.com
This is a picture of my latest iris surprise. I say surprise because I didn't know I had one plant this color, now I find I have not one but, three plants like this. The photo does not truly do it justice. It is a deep purplish blue. The lower petals are almost black. I tried several times today to get a better photo, but we have a light breeze blowing. It was hard to catch the flower when the wind was not blowing. My iris garden is special to me and my husband. Most of the bulbs came from...Read Full Story

What’s Your Dream?

By pennyronning on  From pennyronning.wordpress.com
What am I? Need a hint? I was once among the stars, held three men yet never felt burdened by their weight, and am now resting comfortably not far from “Glamorous Glennis.” One of my favorite places in the world to visit both in person and online is the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. Treasures upon treasures are housed in SI’s 19 museums and 9 research centers. Not able to travel to the physical buildings? Then visit the Smithsonian online! (Answer to “What am I?“) Established by...Read Full Story
