Serenity flies again! "Castle," the current home of Capt. Mal Reynolds -- a.k.a. actor Nathan Fillion -- pulled the ultimate casting move when it brought in Fillion's "Firefly" costar Adam Baldwin -- a.k.a. Jayne Cobb -- to guest star in an episode.  

It's hard to believe that it has taken Castle four seasons to stage a Firefly reunion. But at least that reunion looks to be worth the wait -- Adam Baldwin will guest star in this week's episode, "Headhunters."Who will Baldwin play on Castle? What antics can the former Malcolm Reynolds and the former Jayne Cobb get up to when fighting crime in New York City? We talked to Adam Baldwin himself for the answers.  

Adam Baldwin is a pretty big deal in the nerdy world of genre television. The gun-toting Jayne Cobb of Firefly and the equally gun-toting John Casey of Chuck will guest-star in the next episode of Castle, "Headhunters." Just how easy was it for former Firefly co-stars Adam Baldwin and Nathan Fillion to find their old rhythm while shooting Monday's episode of Castle? "It was like putting on an old pair of comfortable boots," Baldwin tells TVGuide.com with a laugh.  

To date, Castle has planted scarce Easter eggs for Fillion’s Firefly faithful, including cameos by a “catalyzer” as well as Mal’s brown coat itself ... (As Marlowe himself explains, “Just having Adam and Nathan on screen together is a lot!”  

Read along at your own discretion! It seems like fans have been begging to see a Firefly reunion episode for as long as Castle has been on the air. On April 23rd, part of that wish will be granted with Adam Baldwin guest starring in episode 4x21 "Head Hunters".
