The Adam Carolla Radio Show Has Been Canceled

I’m a faithful podcaster of the Adam Carolla Radio Show. I was shocked and profoundly bummed when they announced that the show is coming to an end tomorrow nonetheless.

Why?

Well it appears that the entire station’s format is going the way of the Do do.

On February 18th, 2009 it was confirmed that The Adam Carolla Show had been canceled as part of a FREE FM format switch to AMP FM, a new top 40 station based out of Los Angeles. The final show will be Friday, February 20, 2009.

As a fan of Loveline I’ve been listening to Adam since about 1998. I own Dr. Drew’s book Cracked, the Loveline Companion Guide and Adam’s new movie The Hammer….which I mailed into the studio to be signed. Thanks Adam. Not only that, but I’ve been listening to over 15gigs of downloaded Loveline episodes for the past 3-4 years.

What will Adam be doing after this?

Come this Monday on www.adamcarolla.com Adam will be posting podcasts until he can flesh out his next step. Will he go back to Loveline???? I just hope his show can exist in some form so I can continue to listen to him wax on about attack crows and complain about an endless stream of existentialism that is the human condition.
