NEW YORK (Reuters Life!) - Adam "MCA" Yauch, a founding member of the rap group the Beastie Boys, has said he is "hopeful" he has beaten cancer after undergoing surgery and visiting Tibetan doctors in India. Yauch told fans in July that he had been diagnosed with a cancerous growth in his left salivary gland and an adjacent lymph node, forcing the cancellation of the band's concerts and delaying the release of their album "Hot Sauce Committee Part 1."
