'Set Fire to the Rain' has toppled Rihanna’s 'We Found Love' on the Billboard Hot 100 countdown, which will officially be released on Thursday.
It’s another chart double for the British singer, who scores a 17th week on top of the U.S. albums chart with 21.
In the past eight months, Adele has been on top of the Hot 100 for 13 weeks – 'Rolling in the Deep' spent seven weeks at number one and 'Someone Like You' six.
And she becomes one of only nine acts to land multiple number ones in the same week the album the tracks came from made it to the top of the charts.
Usher was the last artist to manage the feat when 'Yeah!' and 'Burn' reached number one on the Hot 100 while their parent album "Confessions" led the Billboard 200 in 2004.
