Listening to Adele,s rolling in the deep the other day,it suddenly dawned on me,the all encompassing love she was singing about, the type of love as yet unrecorded because according to Adele, not possible because of the deception of her significant other.I sympathise with you Adele being a divorced spouse myself,i quite understand the feeling and yearning for everlasting love but it appears that the frailty of the human condition disallows it or is it that we have been conditioned to believe that the frailty of the human condition denies it.
Not to long ago, give or take fifty plus years we had longer lasting relationships,at the very least with our grandparents and great grandparents, the unfortunate thing is it appears with the advent of two world wars and an increase in western technology,we gave something away of ourselves, something intrinsically us that bondsus and makes us build families communities churches etc all based on this most fragile and yet indestructible need to cohabit and breed,we have done this from the beginning of time and we have always kept it together, one has no fear whatsoever that we are going to lose it all,we are still going to be romantic,we are still going to get married, the question is how do we improve the quality of these relationships and if indeed they have descended into the doldrums, how do we resurrect them and believe in them again?the same way we believe the sun is going to rise in the morning?the same way we know there will always be four seasons ,365 days a year for ever and ever, because as surely as we believe in these beauties of nature surely we can once again believe in the beauty of the same love of life in these things that is also inherent in us.
It is out there this strength that can bond us,we just have to get rid of the flimflam that inhibits us of the heart, the very soul upon which our children are born and raised its,the frivolity with which we treat matters of our soul that breaks us apart,i know it,s there i will find it because i refuse to be shortchanged,so don,t fretAdele, you have it you just have to look in the right place(oh and by the way great song)
P.S Kudos to Abraham and Sarah, the mother and father of all nations for holding it down.
