Adrian Paul Highlander Series

The ‘Highlander’ Series almost rises to cult status I would say. Whenever a Highlander marathon is on TV, the ratings are huge. The only thing I never really understood is that if they are immortal, how come you can kill them if you lob off their heads?

Oh well.

Adrian Paul Hewett was born on May 29, 1959 in London, England so his age is 49. He is better known as Adrian Paul, the actor from the television series Highlander. His mother was Italian and his father was British. He has 2 other brothers.

Paul first became a model, then a dancer and choreographer. In 1985, he left Europe for the United States to pursue a dance and modeling career.

Though he was in many TV series like The Colbys, Murder She Wrote, and Charmed, it was Highlander: the Series in 1992 that would be his signature role to date. Paul also starred in the wildly popular spin-off movie, Highlander: Endgame in 2000, and the fifth Highlander film, Highlander: The Source, in 2007. He has had many roles in films such as Love Potion No. 9 in 1992 with Sandra Bullock and Last Rites in 1988 opposite Tom Berenger and Daphne Zuniga.

If this wasn’t enough to keep anyone busy Adrian devotes the rest of his time to children’s charities including his own, The PEACE Fund (Protect, Educate and Aid Children Everywhere) for which he received a Peacemaker award in Russia in 2006.

Adrian Paul was married to actress Meilani Paul but they divorced. He has no children.
