Adrian Peterson got injured this week against the Green Bay Packers. He went down after being flipped over some Packer defenders and left the game and did not return. Adrian Peterson is going to be out due to injury this week against the Oakland Raiders. Childress said Peterson tore his lateral collateral ligament and therefore will be out this week. Another example of a top NFL player bouncing back from injury so quickly is Adrian Peterson who tore a ligament several weeks ago. Since that time he apparently been working on an underwater treadmill and then protecting his ligament tear with a DonJoy Knee Brace.
