Adriana Lima Engaged

Just like that millions mens' hopes and dreams were shattered after Adriana Lima confirmed that she was in fact, engaged. The 27-year-old model, mostly known for her work with Victoria's Secret has confirmed, through her publicist, that she's engaged to NBA player Marko Jaric .

Jaric, who plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves proposed to the model on her 27th birthday, Thursday night. The couple have been dating for about nine months, which is not very long. The fact that Lima is waiting until she's married to have sex, might have sped up Jaric's proposal.

Who knows. But, the 29-year-old basetball star's rep said that the couple is incredibly happy.
