NBA Star Marko Jarić Marries Victoria's Secret Model Adriana Lima
(Getty Images) Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima has settled down once and for all, after eloping with the Memphis Grizzlies's Marko Jarić in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, on Valentine's Day.
For those close to Lima or Jaric and worried they missed out on the open bar and free food available at a for-real wedding, don't worry -- there's a big one planned for this summer. The supermodel told People magazine:
We are so excited about our future together. And we are really looking forward to a big romantic wedding this summer with all of our friends and family. The two became engaged in June of last year, on Lima's 27th birthday. It's unclear why they chose now to elope.
In the past, Lima dated both Lenny Kravitz and Prince Wenzeslaus of Liechtenstein. She famously said that she would wait until marriage to have sex, telling GQ magazine, "Sex is for after marriage. I don’t care. They have to respect that this is my choice. If there’s no respect, that means they don’t want me."
