Christina Hendricks: New Wonder Woman?

Even though Palicki's Wonder Woman pilot didn't make the cut this TV season, many in Hollywood still think that the superheroine is a very hot commodity. According to a recent NY Magazine interview, Mad Men's Christina Hendricks and her Drive director, Nicolas Winding Refn, have their eyes on Wonder Women's bustier and Lasso of Truth.
"I grew up on the TV show, and I had Wonder Woman Underoos," Christina told the mag. "And Nicolas said, when we were on set, 'I want you to be Wonder Woman.' And I think he is such an extraordinary and exceptional director, that if he asked me to do it, I would do it in a heartbeat."
Nicolas Winding Refn had this to say about why he thinks Hendricks would be great for the role, "First of all, she's an awesome actress. Second, she's so beautiful and so sexy and such a powerhouse of a woman that Liv, my wife, said that's the prototype of a real woman. She has everything a guy would want. And yet she's everything a girl thinks is the right way to look. So for me, she's the perfect choice."
