Being an affiliate is one way to make money online. I’m an affiliate too and could make a little money by promoting other people’s products to my list or through search engines. But many people ask “Can we make money as an affiliate?”
The answer is yes. I say so because I really do make money with affiliate marketing. Although the money that I made isonly a few hundred dollars for a product that I promote, but that’s still money, right? If I can, then you can too!
There’s a lot of people out there making money as an affiliate. Even some of them were able to produce thousands of dollars for just one product they’re promoted. They could make money because they did some REAL action and of course, they have a plan. They are doing some research first and followed by a real action. Most importantly, they have goals and understand that to be successful will take some time and efforts.
Big names such as Frank Kern, Mike Filsaime, Anik Singal or Michael Rasmussen always do affiliate marketing. They already have their own products but still do affiliate marketing to increase their earnings. There is always a process and requires time, dedication, and efforts. I still remember when I hear the interview between Frank Kern and Mike Filsaime. Back then when Mike was a newbie, he was banned by the ISP due to spam. Even Frank Kern was arrested by federal. As you can see, Frank Kern and Mike Filsaime also made a mistake. But they do not give up and rise again, until they can be like now.

You need Your Own Mailing List!
To become an affiliate you do not need to spend anything. You just need to register at Clickbank, PDC or CJ for free. In fact, you can promote an affiliate offer using web 2.0 sites like HubPages or Squidoo so that you don’t need a site. But to become a super affiliate you must have your own mailing list and in order to do that, you should have at least a squeeze page with your own domain.
The so-called guru have spent their time, energy and money to build the list and build a good relationships with their subscribers. The goal is to generate a lot of money on the back-end. They just need to send a product recommendation to their subscribers and make money easily.
I’m not making this up and to reach that point is not easy and require a lot of your time. Building a good relationship with subscribers and making them responsive is not easy. You need strategy and tactic. I have seen a lot of marketers just use their list to bombarded their subscribers with email promos. They don’t give value to their subscribers and that’s an easy way to lose your subscribers fast.
