Start Your Online Affiliate Market Business, and Get It Making Mad Cash Money For You!

When I wandered into this line of income potential, I was pretty skeptical to put it lightly.  “Making money from home is one of those things people only dream about.”  “Online businesses are the stuff of fantasy.”  Such are the things drilled into our heads from day one.  Why would I get paid to just send traffic to a business?  They do all the work, right?  

What a surprise to find out that getting the traffic IS the hard part!  Even more difficult is keeping that traffic!  That’s why you get paid for it!  The task can be so overwhelming at first, but when you get a handle on it... boy does it pay off!  Cash in the bank, while you sleep- they were right.  But how much you get paid depends on you.  Take your time, find the right approach, and you won't go broke before you see results.  

My first mistake was to buy into several different packages.  I wanted to make money online, and a lot of it.  If I get all of them going, I'll be making roughly three or four times as much, right? I have to laugh at myself, because I broke the bank to find that they were all pretty much the same process!  

So, this learning event is:  One at a time!  Get one package set up and started, to where it is making money for you before moving to the next.  Further to that, if you want to diversify, can you also use that same package for a different product?  Don't bother buying another if you can.  My experience is that, though they bear a different name, affiliate marketing packages are pretty much different variations of the same thing!  

I have to tell you now before you try anything:  PAY-PER-CLICK IS EVIL!  Just don't do it- it will rob you blind, and the return just isn't worth it.  People will click on your link, get to the sales page, and not buy a thing!  Several packages list it as a marketing option, and how to use it is usually clearly explained, but take my word for it... DON'T DO IT!  There are several other options that are much more effective, and cost little to nothing.  When I was getting started, I did PPC, and found myself down $200, and didn't make a penny in sales.  

As it pertains to the product... avoid the bandwagon!  Those products that everyone is buying are often over-marketed... too many piglets fighting for their breakfast; not much room for you.  Fear not the road less traveled, for you will not alone.  What you’re looking to do is use a product that is less marketed, yet has a larger demand. Tap into that, and cash it in.  Often, marketers come up with the target market and the product at the same time- it's not wrong.  I recommend a product that has something to do with your own interests, and try it, if you haven't already.  That way you know more about it, and will be able to speak intelligently, and from experience when trying to promote it.

Whatever package you choose, the set-up process is intensely detailed, and often other tools are offered that help expedite it.  In anticipation of traffic, it is important to be patient... People have to notice it first.  That takes time.

Most importantly, you need to follow-up and maintain your business.  All of them.  Keep your blogs and articles updated, stay in touch with your groups and forums, and post photos or a video now and again.

Analyze your strategy. What could be working better?  What could you do to expand your ability to get traffic?  What, if anything, isn’t working at all?  Keep at it.  The guarantee:  If you give up-- you fail... period.
