Agustin Calleri To Play Beijing Olympic Games for Argentina

Agustin Calleri

Juan Ignacio Chela has withdrawn from the Beijing Olympic Games tennis event and has been replaced Agustin Calleri, ranked 58th in the world.

Calleri, who was a Stuttgart semifinalist earlier this month, will be making his second straight Olympic appearance. Four years ago, he defeated Karol Beck, 2-6, 6-3, 8-6, in the Athens Olympic Games, Int he second round Calleri was forced to retired from the tournament giving Igor Andreev a free pass to the next round.

I like Calleri but I would love to see Juan Martin del Potro playing at the Olympics... he is doing so well lately... I guess Juan will have to wait another 4 years...
