FB Ahmard Hall Suspended 4 Games For PED’s

The NFL has suspended Titans fullback Ahmard Hall for the first four games of the season because he violated the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances. Hall said the violation occurred due to a stimulant he took back in February, in order to stay awake on a long drive from Nashville to Houston following the season.

He said a test soon thereafter came back positive, and despite two appeals, the NFL upheld its decision. Hall was informed of the decision Saturday. It marks the second straight season a Titans player has been suspended for the first four games for that violation, as linebacker Gerald McRath was suspended in 2010.
