Aikido
Aikido is a modern, non-aggressive Japanese martial art developed early in the 20th century by Morihei Ueshiba
Saturday Afternoon at the Dojo 8/02/08
Aikidokas: Tim, Richard, Trey, and Brad.
Ukemi: No air falls today.
The Walk: Went ok.
Releases: With Brad. Went well.
Techniques:
I worked with Brad on shomen-ate. It went ok.
I also server as fill-in uke for Trey when he was working on gyakugamaeate. He was having issue with Richard as uke and we wanted to make sure that Trey could get the technique. He nailed it on the first attempt with me.
Trey then served as my uke for a couple of attempts on Tenkai Kote-hineri and Kote-gaeshi. The first couple were a little rough, but the final one was good.
Aftermath: None of note.
