Qatar Airways has been in talks with the govt of Georgia on ways that to assist boost tourism to the south-east European country.
Qatar Airways chief govt Akbar Al Baker met with Georgian prime minister Nikoloz Gilauri whereas in Tbilisi last week for the launch of the airline’s scheduled flights to town.

Al Baker said the govt of Georgia’s rising tourism business, in conjunction with infrastructure developments and high-potential business opportunities were key factors leading the airline’s call to start flying there.
