Airship Times : Profiling The Airship Industry

As part of our plan to assist with the formation of the new Airship League, the Airship Times website will no longer be providing news on the airship industry. The new site will be used to profile individuals and companies in the industry, providing a ‘who’s who’ of the people behind modern airships.

There are a huge number of people currently working in the airship industry, together with a number of companies working on all different aspects of the creation of a modern airship industry. At this time there is no single entity working to combine the efforts of these people or the companies they work for.

The Airship League was created to promote modern airship aviation in any way we can, and Airship Times has been honoured to have been asked to become one of the founding member websites of this new, voluntary organisation. The Airship League will have its own website (www.airshipleague.com) and the other founding member site Airship World (www.airshipworld.blogspot.com) is already a successful news based blog.

The new profiling site, here at Airship Times, will enable the people behind the airships to get some recognition for their work. The aim of the site is to become a valuable resource for all airship enthusiasts, operators, sponsors, designers, engineers and more, by creating a personal profile for the people who can help.
