As the Airsoft sport grows here in South Carolina, new teams must keep in mind that their actions and behavior have a major impact on the airsoft community. When hosting a skirmish or a full scale mission, teams must ensure that their intent is clear. What I mean by that is, if you are going to host, ensure that you put the word out with enough advanced notice and detail as to ensure that there will be enough players on the field to make it worth the drive, and that they are interested in the skirmish or mission type you will be hosting. If you are not hosting, only RSVP the exact number of players you will be bringing to the match. This is a key factor for the host and must be dead on. If you are not able to give a definate answer, then do not say you will be there. Honesty is what keeps this sport going, and allows teams such as mine to host events on a regular basis. If you provide me with a false number of players, then I provide false info to other teams which destroys your reputation as well as that of the host. If this happens, chances are your team will be excluded from any invites sent. Get your name on the mailing list and keep it there. Once again, the sport is young, and with only a few exceptions, teams for the most part keep their word which allows people to drive across the state to play with confidence. Read up on the South Carolina Airsoft Associations rules and regulations and you should have no problems. If you have any questions or would like to join or play my team, you can leave a comment under the next game schedualed @ the following website:
