As a police Lieutenant on the Detroit Police force, Maureen Mason (Aisha Hinds) sees her share of blood, sweat, and tears on a daily basis. But when a teenage girl is killed at the same high school her daughter Chloe attends, it gives the strong willed Lieutenant a major shake up.

The suspects include a lecherous construction worker with a record and even the victim’s boyfriend. Meantime, a 21-year-old son of a prominent defense attorney named Leon Edmonds is murdered after hours in a Greek restaurant, and it looks to be an inside job.

Aisha, who you may recognize from her countless roles on television, movies, and theater, comes to the forefront of this episode entitled, “Murder in Greektown/High School Confidential.”

The series follows a homicide team as they kick butt in one of the most dangerous cities in the world.

It stars Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) as Detective Louis Fitch, a respected yet deeply misunderstood man fighting crime on the streets of Detroit. Jon Michael Hill stars as his partner, Damon Washington, who has already welcomed a son and been shot even though we are only on the forth episode of the season!

Rounding out the cast are Natalie Martinez, James McDaniel, D.J. Cotrona, Shaun Majumder, Jon Michael Hill, and Aisha Hinds who gets to play boss lady to this group of detectives.

Catch “Detroit 1-8-7,” Tuesday, October 19th (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
