The Sunday Telegraph is reporting today that Al Gore is considering taking the Democratic presidential nomination that would "save" the party from a bitter battle between Clinton and Obama. This scenario was first planned by Al Gore's inner circle as early as last May according to two former campaign officials. Gore's former aides believe he could emerge as a compromise between the two camps.
